The Cervia Salt Pans are a protected natural reserve within the Po Delta Park. To preserve this unique environment, visits are only possible with an authorised environmental guide.

The Cubo Magico Bevanella Visitors’ Centre is the natural starting point for visits on foot, by electric boat, by bicycle or by canoe of one of the most precious and untouched natural environments in the province of Ravenna and along the entire Adriatic coast.

Wedged between Ortazzo and Ortazzino, with the historic Classe Pine Grove to its rear, the Centre opens out onto the Foce del Bevano, the last estuary of its kind left to evolve naturally.

The Foce del Bevano is an important area of around 40 hectares which, with its natural estuary, coastal sand dunes and lagoons behind the dunes, is evidence of how the entire regional coast would have looked before human intervention.

Highly evocative, for example, is the night-time excursion with an astronomer who explains the constellations and a nature expert who is able to point out the night-time wildlife.
